So I got a new job profiling immigrants in the state of Arizona...just kidding :P

I thought it'd be cool to try and draw faces from different ethnic backgrounds. Being Samoan and from New Zealand, I live in a multicultural society. Not everyone is white.

I drew the people bald so that I focused more on using line work and their faces to determine ethnicity. I didn't realise how much hair and skin tone really help portray cultures.

I think I came up with a bit of a mixed bag really.

Left to right in rows:

Polynesian, African-American, Japanese
Indian, Hispanic, Nigerian
Aborigine, Native American, Filipino
Croatian, Fijian, Chinese

Feel free to tell me where I went wrong or right.

i lol'd at this attempt. good job, but in my mind i was imaging caricatures.

Cheers dude.

I kinda used photo reference. I just googled a specific ethnicity and tried to draw what I saw were common facial features.
